The Head of Service of the Federation, Mrs Ita Oyo, has confirmed that the age long disparity between holders of Bsc and HND has now been abolished by the Federal Government. Speaking on Radio Nigeria Network public participation programme aired live this morning in Abuja, the HOSF noted that the decision was taken at a meeting of the Council on Establishment (body of state Heads of service, HOS/HOSF) held last week in Minna Niger State. The decisions states that HOS have been directed to issue a circular for d implementation of the HND/Bsc dichotomy. One of the implications of the policy is that both HND & Bsc graduates will have d same entry point (same grade level & steps) & have d same retirement period. HOSF confirms removal of HND/Bsc dichotomy, no more disparity or discrimination again.
