Town hall Meeting - Southern Senatorial District with Governor Akeredolu
For close to a decade now, communities and towns in the six Local Government Areas of the Southern Senatorial District of Ondo State have been disconnected from the nation's main source of power supply - National Grid. This has put the entire Southern Senatorial District into perpetual darkness, making life and conduct of economic activities difficult.
Ostensibly, finding a solution and restoration of electricity back to the affected areas has been a major concern of the Akeredolu- led administration in the State since assumption of office.
To this end, Mr Governor in his determination and commitment to restore electricity back to the areas will on Tuesday, 11th September, 2018 meet with the people of Ese-Odo, Ilaje, Irele and Okitipupa Local Government Areas at the Williams' Place Igbokoda by 11:am and Idepe Town Hall, Okitipupa by 1:00 pm respectively.
Mr Governor is clearheaded about the fact that the wealth of the State is in the belly of the Southern District and therefore can't allow the people to live in darkness.
